The meaning behind this is so personal. Being a lupus warrior I’m forced everyday to stay positive no matter how I feel. It’s extremely important and it gives me hope. 
 
Be kind - everyone is fighting silent battles that sometimes they aren’t ready to talk about . So when you see someone try to understand them. Show them kindness, smile. They may need it a lot that day. 
 
When I first got diagnosed it was something I wanted to keep to myself until I was able to speak on it.. during that time no one knew I was fighting my own silent battles and some days were harder than some. Little messages of inspiration helped me get through the harder days and I gave me hope. It made me smile.
